Show workouts or events totals in future weekly totals

I would like to use the training calendar to plan my upcoming weekly mileage. 

For example, if I have a race in June, I want to add the calendar as an event, and then I want to be able to add workouts in that week and see the "future"/"planned" total mileage. 

Is there any way to use the calendar to see "planned" miles in the Weekly Totals column?
