My etrex 10 turns off when I try to edit a specific waypoint, why?

I have an etrex 10, I have about 20-30 waypoints. I have tried to edit one particular way point and as soon as I try to edit it, the unit turns itself off. Does anyone else have this issue?

Probably some corrupted data. I had a similar problem with displaying/editing a track on an etrex 30. The only solution was to connect the device to a computer and delete the problematic file. Does this happen with this one particular waypoint or does it also happen with other waypoints?

I have the exact same problem. At one point I thought that if the waypoint was the "current" one, i.e., the one I was navigating to, that it couldn't be edited, which makes a certain amount of sense, I guess. Other waypoints seem to be editable, although I haven't checked all of them (I have 100's). It is a waypoint that I marked just yesterday, and was able to edit (change the name from a number to something meaningful) but ever since I get the same cutoff.

Hello TMK2, the issue is with just the one waypoint. I can't open / edit it even to delete it.
