Malformed Fit File

I am currently using Forerunner 35 and for the first time, my run won't sync to my Garmin Connect App. I tried uploading it manually only to get the error message: one of your files was not accepted by the system.

I have used the fit file repair tools suggested on this forum with no success. I was able to see that the file has documented my run from California all the way to South America...

Not sure if this can be salvaged but here is my file if someone wants to give it a shot: Fit File

1 timestamp was hijacked to the Falkland Islands

This will work for you - B4B91131-fixed.fit

Import into Garmin Connect using the import data page. Repaired using Fit File Repair Tool.

Some tips to help minimize the occurrence of corrupt fit files:

Keep the number of files in the \GARMIN\ACTIVITY folder on the device’s file system to a minimum using these directions: Removing Recorded Activities on a Garmin Fitness Device If you delete the files in your activity folder with a Mac computer, then empty the trash folder before you unplug your device from the computer.
Try to avoid excessive button presses during your activity.
Regularly check for firmware updates using Garmin Express
If issues with corrupt files persist, contact Garmin Support.

Thank you so much!! The file works! I am guilty of excessive button presses but will be using the auto pause feature going forward.
