challenge not updating

I have joined a challenge to walk the farthest in 2021 but my kilometres show as zero.

My other challenges have the correct data but not this one.

Does anyone know why this could be?

Did you record any activities of the type Walk? Activities of the type Run or Hike won't count for this challenge. And plain steps won't transform into a walking distance either.

If you did, then verify the privacy setting on those activities - they must be visible to Groups.

Thank you for your answer. My forerunner 235 does not have "walk" so I use "other"

I will need to look into this more.

You can do that, but you have to change the activity type to Walk in Garmin Connect, then, to have it counted as Walk. "Other"-type activities do not count as Walks.

I was just heading to connect now to find out if I can do that.
So do I change "Other" to default as "Walk" is that correct?

You have to change the Activity Type of each concerned "Other" activity to "Walk"
