Broken account to use in web page

Hello,

I have a problem that I cant login with my account to connect.garmin.com and forums.garmin.com - on login it crashes and no possible actions remains. On iOS mobile application works like a charm.

I have tried ALL browsers in normal/private modes, same on all browsers - on connect I get error code 500:

My account email is edmundaslt at gmail dot com (writing from newly created account as cant login with main one).

If you need some more information - please ask I will provide any mandatory information to identify the cause.

P.S. From product support got answer (In italian ?!?!) that its too hard to solve this problem.

  • Just a note: this is primarily a user forum, and Garmin staff does not really provide the support here. Unfortunatelly the 500 error is a server-side crash, and only the admin of the server can review the logs, and tell why the crash happened. So unless another user already experienced a similar issue, I am not sure whether anyone here will be able to help.

I wanted to suggest trying an alternative Internet connection, or a VPN, because some login problems come due to blacklisted IP addresses. But if the login works using a fresh account, then the blacklisted IP address is apparently not the problem. You could perhaps try it anyway.

Also try whether you can log in into the global Garmin account at https://www.garmin.com/account/profile/

And check also the status page https://connect.garmin.com/status to see whether there are not some outages in your region.

If nothing helps, try contacting the global support through facebook or twitter. It looks like you were falsely assigned to the Italian Support team - did not you mistakenly select "it" instead of "lt" as your country? You can also try contacting your local Lithuanian support by phone or chat - that usually works much better than email. And if they are also not able to help, they should be able asking the intervention of the global support team.
