What setting needs to be changed so the workout doesn't have my city in the title?

Title says it all, but to further clarify, my runs are always titled "[name of city] Running." I want it to just say Running/Walking/etc. I thought I set it to activity only with this new phone but it's still showing up. Thanks for any and all help :)

    In Garmin Connect Web you have 4 options under display preferences, activity name - https://connect.garmin.com/modern/settings

    Thanks for the quick reply! At first I thought it was because I was trying to do it on the app instead of online but it was already on Workout Name.

    Workout name will be used only when available (finally it is written there) - it means only when you actually do a Workout (or a lesson of a Training Plan). If no workout used, the next option applies. It means if you do not want the location in the name, use the last option "Untitled"

    My goal was to not have to change the title but apparently that's not an option. Come on, Garmin!

    You can achieve it easily by creating a dummy running workout with the name Running, and always using it, together with the first option.

    Edit: ...err, just checked some my older runs with a Training Plan, and it looks like the location is being added to the workout name anyway. So the last option is the only one hiding the location.

    For workouts created manually from Garmin Connect, the name of the activity contains the name of the workout (apart from the city where I started to run in case of a running activity). However, for suggested workouts, the name of the workout is not used in the name of the activity. In that latter case the activity just contain the city and the type of activity. I know I can change the name manually from Garmin Connect, but is it possible to follow the same rules to set the names of the activities for the suggested workouts as the manually created workouts? Thanks!

    What exactly do you mean by suggested workouts? If you mean individual sessions / workouts of Training Plans, then they do have the location name attached too (at least, in my case).

    I am talking about the "Daily Suggested Workout" suggested by my Garmin 945 every day. For example, today my watch recommends "4x6:00@4:05/km 50:00". If I do that workout, the name of the activity is going to be just "La Coruña Carrera" (Location and type of activity), instead of including the name of the suggested workout even if my configuration is "Workout name (when available)".
