Garmin Connect Workout Target vs Forerunner 245 Workout Targets ( Run / Walk)

Hi,

For several months, I have now programmed running workouts in Garmin Connect (Web/Android) and had them transferred to my watch via the calendar.
Recently, I started adding fast walks into my workouts. Garmin Connect doesn't have a "Walk" Activity, but the FR245 has one. So I just set a Target in the watch before the workout. This is a bit annoying because I usually setup all my workouts for the week and then just have to double click start on my watch and be on my way.
But I also found that when I manually set a target for a walk (this is also when manually setting up a run) I can add both Distance and Time targets at the same time. Which is a functionality that is not offered in Garmin Connect. The watch then automatically also has a watchface with datafields for estimated finish time and time behind/ahead of target. Is something like this impossible to setup in Garmin Connect or have I just not found the option? (Also why isn't there a walk activity when there is one on my watch? Seems the App(s) and the watch software is very detached in these things)
