Garmin activity not transferred from watch to phone

Hoping someone here can help me.

I have a Garmin Forerunner 35 which I record all of my running on. Once the watch has synced with Garmin Connect on my phone, it automatically transfers to Strava. I've been using this method for 18 months without issues - until today.

I ran a half marathon this morning and it's not showing under activities. It is on my watch as my last activity and shows as the full 13.1 miles but does not show on Garmin Connect.

I have tried running the file through some fixers but it still only comes up with the first 8 miles of my run, along with the map for the first 8 miles.

Understandably I'm a bit annoyed as this won't show on my Strava and go towards my challenges.

Anyone have any ideas? I'm out of them.

We can take a look and see if it is repairable. Zip the problematic fit file then insert it into a reply post using one of these methods.

Zip the file, then in a reply post Insert >> Image/video/file >> Upload >> browse for file >> OK.
Zip the file, then drag and drop it onto a reply post.
Post a link to the file using a file sharing service, such as OneDrive, Google Drive, Dropbox, etc.

Some tips to help minimize the occurrence of corrupt fit files:

Keep the number of files in the \GARMIN\ACTIVITY folder on the device’s file system to a minimum using these directions: Removing Recorded Activities on a Garmin Fitness Device If you delete the files in your activity folder with a Mac computer, then empty the trash folder before you unplug your device from the computer.
Try to avoid excessive button presses during your activity.
Regularly check for firmware updates using Garmin Express
If issues with corrupt files persist, contact Garmin Support.
