Activity uploaded with wrong device

Hello,

this question  must have been asked thousands of times, yet it seems there's not a solution.

I own an Edge 1030 (nice screen whilst riding) and a Fenix 6 (main activity tracker).

When I ride, I usually record on both devices, and then delete the Edge 1030. Despite TrueUp does sync on the Excercise Load, FTP, etc etc, it does not upload the 7-day training load:

As you can see from the screenshots, today's activity was not registered in the 7-day training load (yes my fault of not pressing record).

Is there a way to solve this?

Thanks,

Antonio

  • Did you sync the 1030 before the activity so that they had the same 7 day training load?

  • Hello e7andy,

    thanks for the reply.

I did force a sync with the 1030, and it worked.

Just noted this little thing :-D

I can never sync the Vector 3...but that's a different problem.

    Cheers,

    Antonio

  • Great that it worked! I've been experimenting with the TrueUp sync since I also saw that the values didn't match between my devices and when I started to always sync the 1030 before each ride everything started to match between the devices.

I only have Vector 2 which needs a special software to update firmware. For Vector 3 you can try with Garmin Express. It should work with via the Edge but it is a good idea to use Garmin Express from time to time.

  • It's interesting that the app does not show the activity in the excercise load, but it takes into account for the 7-day training load (can compare to the garmin connect web app which shows it):

It does not matter, as long as the training load takes it into account.

Garmin express is a mistery to me, since I never ended up being able to use it, it never finds the Edge 1030...but I'll check online, thanks.
