Garmin Edge 800 Activity is visible on screen, but won't upload to Garmin Connect.

So I completed a ride today but the file is not uploading to Garmin Connect. If I manually upload it to Strava, it only shows the first 5k of the ride that I completed, which suggests that maybe the GPS cut out after this point. But if you look at the photo below, it looks like the ride has been recorded as it shows the full distance I rode, 20.33km and the correct time I was out of 47:38 mins. I have tried looking in the folders once inserting the Garmin into my mac, that's how I uploaded it to Stava. Is it possible to recover the full file from this point? I've never had this problem before after using this Garmin Edge 800 for about six months now. Does anyone know if SD Today 15:47 is recoverable or is another case of lost ride data?

Upload the file here. We can take a look at it and see if it is repairable.

In a reply post, Insert > Image/video/file > Upload > browse for file > OK

zip it first then try again.

Alternatively, post a link to the file using a file sharing service, such as OneDrive, Google Drive, Dropbox, etc.

This will upload to Garmin Connect, but like you can see in Strava, only 5.5km with the last timestamp at 16:16.

Well, I was going to say the Edge 800 came out in 2010. That is over 100 in human years. So I would suggest that. Meanwhile, you might try removing the old activities from the device.

Yes, I did try doing that first, which is why it only shows 2 activities in the photo I added. A friend gifted it to me as he had upgraded so it has done it's job well as a freebie up until now!
