Adding historic activities to a new group

I've just started a group and tried to add some activities from the past as I think the maps and routes would be useful for future group members, however the historic activities do not show up on the activity feed, even if I enable the correct privacy settings for them. Is there any way of doing this or alternatively changing the start date for my group?

I do not think so, but you can make Courses and Segemnts public, and post links to them in a Group Announcement.

You could also change the dates of your past activities, but that would distort your stats.

Alternatively you could create a completely new dummy GC account for that purpose, joining the group with it, exporting the activities of interest from you account, importing them into the dummy account, and changing the dates there. In this way you would preserve your account intact, while having all the activties visible in the Group.
