In Garmin there are badges which you will find in the badges page: [https://connect.garmin.com/modern/badges] If you click a badge you will see which activity that awarded you that badge. Only a date will be displayed for accumulative badges.
If a single activity is directly connected to a badge the badge will be displayed when you view the activity.
Many badges are not directly connected to a single activity. They are instead using a number of activities to reach the required distance or count for the badge. Those badges will not be displayed in an activity. Those are the ones I call "accumulative badges". There is a special case that might be confusing. It is when a badge requires you do to one activity of a specific type. It is also an accumulative badges with the count set to 1.
If you view the [Daily summary] you will see any badges awarded for that day.
