Not enough steps on connect web app that were on watch

The web app does not show all of the steps i got again on the watch.  When I restarted the watch it showed less but I had enough steps before.  I was on day 50 of the 60 day goal getter badge and am upset.  Can you help?

    We cannot do much for you here, on the user forum. It usually happens, when the syncing fails, or when the storage on the watch is full. We can just advise you how to prevent it in the future - always sync before midnight and verify whether the data really transferred to the server. You can do so either by looking on the Steps count in Garmin Connect Web, or by opening the detailed Steps screen on the app (looking at the Steps card on the MyDay screen is not relevant, since it just mirrors the live data, not the data saved to the account - for that you really need to tap the Steps card, and enter the detailed screen). Also regularly clean up the folder //GARMIN/Activity/ to avoid filling of all the available space.
