Saved an activity but it’s not showing up

I just completed a long run and saved an activity on my Garman forerunner 45. It saved normally when I finished the run. But when I went to upload it to Garmin Connnect it did not load. I then went to look at the history on my Garmin watch it looks as though the activity never happened. It even says that I’ve only done about 1000 steps, even after running almost 8 miles. But it does show that I had almost 2 hours of activity on the history graph. So I think the run is in there somewhere but just can’t figure out what’s going on. 

  • Most likely the activity file filled the storage to the limit. Try import the activity manually - download the respective FIT file from the folder //GARMIN/Activity over the USB cable, and import it at [https://connect.garmin.com/modern/import-data]. If you get an error when importing , try repairing it by passing it through the Section Remover of the [Fit File Tools] (without removing anything). If it does not help, zip the file and insert it here (Insert » Image/video/file » Upload).

    And once you downlaoded the file, clean up the folder //GARMIN/Activity to make up some room. Do it regularly to avoid similar incidents in the future.
