Unexpected end of file while parsing Name has occurred. Line 151558, position 9.

I have a Garmin1000. I'm trying to edit Totals.fit with http://garmin.kiesewetter.nl/ but I get this error message : Corrupt FIT file - The following error occurred: Unexpected end of file while parsing Name has occurred. Line 151558, position 9.

I did it several times in the past without any problem.

This is the link to the file: https://www.dropbox.com/s/ajl3r8il9sigle2/Totals.fit?dl=0

The file should have 3 different prifiles (3 bikes) and 0Km for all of them.

Please help me, Marco.

  • This is what I'm seeing.

Assuming you want the empty records removed and cycling as sport for all 3.

  • Thank you for you kind and prompt reply.

I imported your file into my Garmin1000 and I have 3 cycling profiles with 0Km.

I tried convert your .fit to.csv file with http://garmin.kiesewetter.nl/ but I got the same error message: Unexpected end of file while parsing Name has occurred. Line 151558, position 9.

Maybe the website is not working anymore...Iguess???

  • I tried convert your .fit to.csv file

Is there a reason you need to convert it to .csv? I actually get the same error with my own totals.fit file. This looks like a problem on the kiesewetter site.
