Indoor and outdoor shoes

Hi,

is it possible to assign one pair of shoes to indoor activities and a different pair to outdoor running? If not, why? I guess this would be a normal occurrence as you wouldn’t use your outdoor pair of shoes for running on a treadmill or at the gym.

Yes, you can assign any gear to any activity manually in Garmin Connect. If you feel lazy doing it manually, for the automated asignment you either have to ask Garmin to add it, as seilogramp suggested, or you could use a custom script or a browser pluggin for doing it for you. There were similar solutions posted here on the forum already, so consider browsing/searching past threads, if it interests you.
