GPS

My watch connects to GPS pre run- I have glonass setting on as well- when I’ve finished, turns out my route hasn’t been logged, I also have location setting to always tracking, any help? I have a garmin forerunner 45

Does the exercise itself get logged? This might be obvious but sometimes after my watch finds GPS I forget to press “start” on my activity and then nothing gets logged.

Hi,

Yea, I get all the mile splits, elevation gain, all of that info, it uploads the sport to Strava as well. Just my route hasn’t been tracked. I connect every time to GPS

Assuming you're using a GPS activity on the watch, such as outdoor run. If you're not getting a map of your run on Garmin Connect, take a look at this:

Issue: No map due to expired EPO
