Trail names not showing on activity map in Garmin Connect. For the last 2 weeks names of trails only show "Bicycle".

Does anyone notice this? What used to show the name of all the trails on map, now only labelled as "Bicycle" . Street names,  lakes,  rivers are there.  It's like it's somehow lost its ability to name/ display the tail names

GPS is on. Bug in the program/update version? My Data download from Garmin Edge  520.

    Which option did you set in GC Web Account Settings » Activity Name ?

    Looking through past conversations here, looks like this happened 5 years ago with Open Streetmap maps.

    No, I do not think it has any relation to OpenStreetMaps - I just tested, setting the OSM as default in my Garmin Connect account, did a short activity, and the location name was correctly included anyway. Did you check the setting as I recommended, and which options do you have there?

    Settings in GC Web Account Activity Name "Location & Type".  Map shows area correctyly, street names, lakes, etc okay, except missing trail names. Lables all trails as "Bicycle". I will go do a ride now and report back.

    Spoke with Garmin support rep today.  He has confirmed trail names are removed  on map for all CANADIAN areas.  Areas in the US are fine. He does not know why, but will investigate and hopefully rectify or have some sort of explanation for this. Any Canadian users finding this?
