Approach S60 Watch face only shows distance in total MILES...I would like it in KMS

Hi everyone, I'm a new Garmin Approach S60 owner, and after updating my public profile to METRIC, and changing the settings on the watch to KMS, the total distance on my watch face still show in MILES. Is there any way to fix this? Watch face = ClearHex Unlimited. Thanks in advance.

Figured it out with the help of the watch face developer...settings > systems > units > distance = meters (not yards). I thought it needed to be yards for golf...

Did you change the units on the watch, or in Garmin Connect? If in GC only, then check out the setting directly on your watch too.
