Problem with uploading data to web second time by garmin express and then freezing steps and other data cant be uploaded

As Trux recommended, I tried to remove product and deleted second account, then made Factory reset on watch, removed all instances  (product - not retired but deleted) of watch in garmin connect and express and it worked until I tried to connect it to PC by cable. It uploaded steps, HR and weight and freezed steps again. In GExpres it synchronized really long time, probably endless, and when I clicked on Sync (where software version is visible and wrote me, I am up  to date), I went back and there was green tick, that its finished. Then clicked Eject Garmin in Explorer  an after that it was surely freezed.

I dont have mobile compatible with Garmin app right now so its only Watch vivoactine3, Garmin express and garmin connect. Nothing more is in the game and its still kinda broken. :(

    Did you really remove the device from Garmin Express too? Sounds to me as if you reintroduced the same problem as originally by connecting…

  • If there is problem with even first connection to GConnect, I cant figure out, how to fix it. Please, help, I have this issue for 3/4 year and I even got new watch (now I am not happy about that a bit) and nothing changed.

    Did you really remove the device from Garmin Express too? Sounds to me as if you reintroduced the same problem as originally by connecting it to Garmin Express operating under a different account than you actually wish to use. Make sure you carefully follow all the instructions from the support document Data is Missing from My Garmin Account After Syncing, including those about Garmin Express. 

  • I have possibility to install garmin express and try the uploading on different PC, I tried it and it finally worked with the syncing and didnt stop the step count.
    (I was walkingin the apartment and didnt see the difference, then I tried to see stepss right at watch - I slided down to see steps and then I saw the difference - it still counted on and on. I am so happy that its possible to upload without factory setting all the time.. :) )

    Does the different PC upload mean I didnt remove correctly the device somewhere ??

  • If you use a new PC now, you have a different instance of Garmin Express, and this time it is associated with the right account (unlike on your old PC), hence it works correctly. If you followed all the steps from the previously mentioned document, it would have fixed the issue with your old PC, too.
