I didn't see any sleep data for the previous night. Trying to figure out how to update the syncing, I accidentally made a manual sleep entry. I would like to undo that. Is it possible? How do I do it?

I just stumbled across this thread because I did the same thing. What I found out deletes that manual entry is to edit it again to the same time like 12:00pm bedtime and 12:00pm wake up. It won't change…
Garmin really needs to work on there sleep software. That’s a huge metric for most people to track there recovery and the fact it’s so choppy, for example, can’t delete an entry or won’t pick up on a nap…
So how do you just delete a manually entered sleep night? I just accidentally put in a manual entry learning my new vivoactive. When I searched I see several people asked same questions but only answer…
Same issue. I was playing around with previous nights sleep data and changed it to manual. This deleted the Garmin data and now will not allow to re-sync and update with the original. Looks like I've just wasted one nights sleep!! Just like pressing pause during a run and having to run that extra 200m to make it up
Same problem here. I accidentally added a manual entry last night via the web interface, then zeroed it, and now it doesn't sync with the actual watch data from the sleep. I find this very annoying and not quite serious for not being fixed for a such a long time. And this is something called a 'premium' watch.
Garmin, please, fix your stuff. It has been a quite a while since this was reported for the first time and nobody from your end told us any workaround or fix. At least when its zeroed allow to be synced with the actual data, rather than leaving things unfinished.
I was able to delete the entry by going back to the start and end times and hitting the “x” to the right which removed the numbers. That worked.
I just encountered this same problem. I did not see any synced sleep data on desktop Garmin Connect, messed with times and accidentally added the manual entry. I deleted the manual entry by typing in the same times 12pm to 12pm, which worked. However, the actual watch entry in with sleep score and all the data is not syncing to Garmin Connect, which means that day will be lost forever. This is so frustrating!
