I’d never noticed until now but Garmin doesn’t give me credits for most of my 3 mile walks and none on thread mill WHY??

I’ve worn a Garmin for about 4 years I’ve always got credit for steps but never credit as “walking” Why?

In order to be counted towards Badges and Challenges (if it is what you mean by the "credit"), the walks have to be recorded by a Garmin device (no manual entries or imported activities), and it has to be of the type Walk (Hikes do not count).

So.. my 5 & 6 K’s that I did in fall of 2020 isn’t counted as a “walk”? And miles on thread mill isn’t a walk?

I left off that the garmin device is on my arm, I don’t log any of it manually!

You either have to record the activities using the auto-start option, or starting the activity manually. And as I wrote, it has to be of the type Walk. Treadmill walks count too, as long as you record them as Walks
