Badge challenge, 2021 cycling – stage 1, indoor bicycle?

There's a badge challenge for cycling, register 812,7 km (505 miles) of cycling activities. Does it allow indoor bicycling activities with manually entered distance?

I'm training on a spin bike that do count watt and distance on the bike display, but I doesn't send these values to any other device. Does a challenge like the one mention allow me to enter the distance manually or do I need to have the distance reported from a sensor or something?

Yes, as long as you record the activity with a Garmin device, you can set the final distance manually in Garmin Connect, and it will be counted.

So manual enters work in Garmin for challenges, then the challenge badge has a clinch and needs to be adjusted. I know Strava does not accept manual imput but I use GARMIN! Same issues with the running challenge it's a manual imput on treadmills

Not sure I understand what problem you have. Are you complaining that Garmin accepts manual edits for challenges, or oppositely - you are not able to get your activities accepted for the challenges?

Hi yes I use Garmin and would like all my run entries used for the challenge

All entries recorded by a Garmin device are used for challenges. Manual entries and imported activities are not. Record all your activities with a Garmin device, and you'll be fine.

So I just set my device on run and then manually adjust the distance ok

No, Garmin employees here on the forum have a garmin logo as avatar, and their user names begin with "Garmin-". But you won't see them much here. A bit more on some of the device-specific forums.
