How to correct a Fit file to be able to upload it to my Garmin connect, as it is displayed on my watch however, not displayed on my Garmin connect.

When I have tried to upload the file from my computer it has said that the file is not supported. Can anybody please fix this and send it back to me?

thornley29. same problem as the OP. Timestamp out of chronological order.

And the Forerunner 25,30,35 seem to be susceptible to corrupt fit files. See previous post for minimizing occurrence of this issue…

The issue was 1 timestamp was not in chronological order.

And an unusual GPS position

Repaired using Fit File Repair Tool - B1HA1050-fixed.zip

Unzip the file then import into Garmin Connect using the import…

Some tips to help minimize the occurrence of corrupt fit files:

Keep the number of files in the \GARMIN\ACTIVITY folder on the device’s file system to a minimum using these directions: Removing Recorded Activities on a Garmin Fitness Device If you delete the files in your activity folder with a Mac computer, then empty the trash folder before you unplug your device from the computer.
Try to avoid excessive button presses during your activity.
Regularly check for firmware updates.
If issues with corrupt files persist, contact Garmin Support.

Hi mate, had a similar issue this afternoon with a corrupted file.
