Challenges issue?

I am stuck in the 95k steps challenge. In the last two challenges, I have completed over 150k steps but still not been moved up. Any ideas?

I do not remember exactly, but I believe you get promoted higher when you win the Challenge. Am not not sure whether the 2nd and/or 3rd ranks get promoted too.
