Why the result is different after export to GPX file?

I just completed 21.1KM this morning for KLSCM2020VR. But found out that my distance is only 20.5KM after uploaded the gpx file to KLSCM2020 website. May I know why?

    Probably because the website ignores the distance data in the fie, and ony uses the coordinates of the points to recalculate the distance, which may ignore some details, like the vertical distance, or the distance done while the GPS signal was not ideal.
