Trying to map a route over roads I’ve ridden loads and mapped on my garmin 830 before but keep getting this error message. Is there an issue with garmin in the U.K. today?

The same thing happened last month. I contacted Garmin Support using the chat option. It was fixed by the next day. Create Roundtrip: Oops, something went wrong. Dismiss

I've been having the same issue too for the last couple of days... pretty frustrating!

I logged out of the app and back in, and it was better. Not perfect, but definitely better.

I'm getting the same error for area Hamburg, Germany. Even though there are many deep-purple heat map-paths in the area. I tried both web page connect.garmin.com as well as iPhone app

I've not tried in the app myself, only on the website. I tried logging out/in again and it didn't really make a difference though this time I was able to complete making a new course by ignoring the warning message and kept clicking to set the waypoint. Some waypoints took 3 or 4 clicks to be accepted, some took 10+ but I got there in the end!

Still pretty broken unfortunately so hope Garmin have a look at this soon?!

Experienced the same. Clicking 10+ times, sometimes slightly off the purple track, finally did add some waypoints.

It seems to work if I try starting 10 miles from home, very strange

Yes, same today vs. About one week ago it was working fine for local roads.
