Can't share workout data via whatsapp.

I have been sharing workout data (personal stats) with a friend for months and all of a sudden we are not able to view one another's data. Black screen saying Data for this activity could not be loaded. Pull to refresh. Anyone?

If you speak about the sharing button up right on the Activity Page in Garmin Connect Web, then it is normally greyed out and unavailable, unless you set the Privacy of that Activity to Everyone. If available and clicked, it offers the options FB and Twitter. Which of them does show the balck screen in your case? Both of them work for me. There is no WhatsApp there.

If you are speaking about sharing in the GC Mobile phone app, then you are posting to the wrong forum - this one if for the web interface of Garmin Connect. Instead, post your question either in the GCM Android or GCM iOS forum, depending on the OS of your phone. And write there also whether you are trying to share a Web Link or a photo.

BTW, the easiest way to share details of Activities with a firend is by using the Connections. Once you connect with your friend, and set the visibility of your activities for "Connections" (either globally by default, in your User Settings » Privacy Settings, or individually at each Activity you wish to share), he'll be able to view them in his Garmin Connect account (in the News Feed, or on the Connections page).

Thanks! I am talking about the share icon from within an activity in the Garmin phone app. If you drill into a workout there are four icons top left: Like, comment, photo and share. If I click on that and select :"Web Link" via whatsapp, it usually sends my activity to my friend as a link and he can open and see the entire activity the same way as I do. But now, it won't load and he has the same issue when sending to me. It has been working fine for months and then stopped working for both of us.

I have added him as a Connection so we can see data that way now, but I like the Whatsapp approach!

I just tested it on my Android phone, and I can share an Activity through Whatsapp without problems. If you are using an iPhone, post your question to the GC Mobile iOS forum, since this forum is for the web interface, and not everyone is necessaily familiar with your OS plaform. Personally, I cannot advise you anything about the iPhone app.
