Manual Entry Run Data "Avg Run Cadence" (SPM) Displays as "--" In Activities?

All the runs I tracked with my Forerunner 245 capture Avg Run Cadence and correctly display SPMs in the Activity tab tabular display.

But I also imported my older run data for 5K races etc from another device (Fitbit) and in a few cases also manually entered the run data (including Avg Run Cadence) within Garmin Connect.

When I view the run data in tabular format via the Activities tab in Connect, it always shows the "Avg Run Cadence" as " -- " for those activities that were imported or manually entered.

But when I click into any of these imported/entered activities - well there's the correct number I previously imported/entered in the same Avg Run Cadence field.

Is this a bug? Or is there some reason SPM values for imported or entered data shows as "--" in the Activity tab?

Only Garmin could tell you, but if you call them and ask about it, they will certainly not admit it being a bug, and rather tell that the table only shows data as measured by the device.

So rather than asking for the reason, I'd call them directly and ask for the change, or at least for adding optional columns also with the manual/imported entries (you can enable/disable optional columns on the right of the table header, so that could easily add some more optional columns, including the manual entries). Or use the idea submission form here: www.garmin.com/.../
