Can't export 'Steps' to iOS Healthcare App

I am setting as below on iOS Healthcare App.
iOS Healthcare App -> 'Source' at bottom -> Connect -> Steps toggle=ON

When I see my Steps on iOS Healthcare App with below sequence, Steps later than 2019/03 are NOT shown.
iOS Healthcare App ->  Today -> Steps → Data source and Access → Data source → Connect (at the top of the list)

How can I export Steps to iOS Healthcare App?

iPhone 6 iOS 12.4.8
Garmin Connect 4.37

  • Is the name of the iOS app really "iOS Healthcare", or are you speaking about the better known "Apple Health"? Does the app appear on the list of applications in the User Profile of Garmin Connect Web » Account Information, and is it approved there? Is all the other data, except of the Steps being transferred all right, or is it supposed to transfer exclusively the steps? Does Garmin Connect show any steps for the concerned period? Did you try contacting the support of the iOS Healthcare app?

    Hi trux,
Thank you so much for your prompt reply. I changed the language of my iOS to English.

A1. App: Apple Health (Heart mark icon)

A2. User Profile of Garmin Connect Web » Account Information:
No "Apple Health" is shown. Only "Strava" is shown.
How can I add "Apple Health" to the list?

A3. It seems only Step has the problem. At least "Heart Rate" is transferred.

A4. Garmin Connect completely shows correct steps measured by my 235J.

A5. I am contacting to Apple Japan community, too.

  • How can I add "Apple Health" to the list?

Apple Health, as far as I know, is one of the few 3rd party apps that are controlled only from outside (in this case at Apple), and are not listed in Garmin Connect.

There is some info about it in the document What Garmin Connect Information Can Be Shared With Apple Health?

Perhaps you should pay attention to the following sentence from the document:

    • Data will only be sent to Apple Health while the Garmin Connect app is in the foreground. If the app is closed or sent to the background, the transfer of data to Apple Health will not complete until a successful sync of the device while the Garmin Connect app is open.

On the other hand, if the HR is transferred, the data connection apparently works. Hopefully you get some information from Apple why the steps are not getting in.

    Thank you trux,
But I always open both Garmin Connect and Apple Health as foreground on my iPhone and syncing my 235J to Garmin Connect frequently.
I checked the settings and tried to set everything again, but still not solved.
On Apple community, I found there are 15 more persons who have the same questions as mine.
I would like to wait for an answer from Apple community and Garmin Japan.

This was a problem of GarminConnectMobile App.
And it has already fixed at 4.37.1.5.
    Thank you trux!
