Hello, I'm hoping someone can help fix the attached FIT file. I'm on a MAC so can't use the MS Access tool. I tried the online repair tool but that came up with an error.
Thanks in advance!

Do you know if there is any way to recover the data for the remaining ride to Collie, or was that not recorded by the device?
There is no data. Your ride stops short of Collie.
Hi skip_donahue, can you tell us something about this activity? Was it a run or a ride? I assume it's a ride, since it's with an Edge 830. But there is no heart rate nor cadence data. What should the total time be? I'm getting 2 different results. Running it through FIT File Tools online section remover (also works on a Mac) gives me a time of 3:59:02. Running it through FFRT gives me a time of of 2:08:06.

According to FFRT "The recording ended abruptly and without the expected summary records. Probably data records at the end of the recording are missing."
Hi seilogramp, thanks for your help, much appreciated!
It was a ride, the total time of my ride was around 4 hours but the section covered in the fixed FIT file took a bit over 2 hours (maybe that is why there is a time discrepancy between the two files). The FFRT error makes sense because after loading your fixed version into Garmin Connect the map shows that it ends part way through my ride. I continued riding south to Collie (another 20km, took another 1.5 hours).
Do you know if there is any way to recover the data for the remaining ride to Collie, or was that not recorded by the device?
Thanks again!

Ok thanks for confirming, just thought I'd double check. I'm glad I at least got the first part of the ride, so thanks for your help.
