How easy it would be I can't say, only Garmin can answer for how their implementation is done and whether changing it would be easy. But my guess is that it would not be so easy, if you didn't include it in the original design of the system.
But you can always submit it as a request, bigger chance of it getting noticed by them there than here where there mostly are just ordinary users like yourself.
