Former Member, was this supposed to be only 4/10 mile? That's all there is on this FIT file. The recording ended abruptly and without the expected summary records. Looks like the timer stopped at 1:26…

Former Member, was this supposed to be only 4/10 mile? That's all there is on this FIT file. The recording ended abruptly and without the expected summary records. Looks like the timer stopped at 1:26, started again at 1:55, but that's all. No final stop.

No, this was a 20 mile ride actually. Does this mean its not good news for me?!

Yes, not good. The data is simply non-existent after 2 minutes into the ride.

But Wont even allow me to move the file to desktop to share! Says unreadable or corrupt

You should be able to move it or zip it. Just make sure you're not opening it.

Then either copy the zip file to your computer or just attach it here.

Thx again. Just plugged Garmin into PC and was prompted with 'fix error files' message ....naturally I said yes - Now today's activity has gone completely!

Why does Garmin keep going corrupt? Others have mentioned clearing previous rides on device? Any Ideas??

Can't say for sure. Sometimes due to storage capacity. Maybe ask on the Edge 520 forum.
