The trendline popularity routing seems unavailable? When will it be back?

As a workaround, until the issue gets fixed by Garmin, you can create the courses with an external tool, and import them into Garmin Connect, or even placing them directly on the device, bypassing Garmin…

I have a new Garmin Edge Explore. I can create course on the garmin itself, and could also create cycling courses via the Garmin Connect app on my iPhone last week. However, this week I keep getting an error message in the app ‘having problems retrieving a course’. I’ve tried deleting and re-installing the app, tried changing the course name and all other criteria. Even tried using a run or ‘other’ category but nothing works. Has anyone got any tips please? Thanks

What do you mean "retrieving?" Sending it to your edge?

Seems to be other course-related issues at the moment...

This is the message I get whenever I try snd create a round trip course in the garmin connect app. Works on the edge device itself but no longer on the app.

Thanks for the link to plotaroute. I've been complaining that importing a GPX route to Connect doesn't give me the turn by turn instructions. Now I've got something to play with next time I want to load a route from somewhere else.
