Possible to fix lost summary info?

My fenix 6 has errored out on saving a swim activity now twice. The fit file is not accepted by Garmin Connect for syncing. I've tried to convert it using the SDK to csv, which works. However, the resultant csv is not possible to convert back. Using the online tool, I can create a fit file that uploads correctly to Strava and shows all data as far as I can tell except the summary records.

It is clear that the summary records have not been stored into the original fit file. My question: is there any way to edit those values in and then recreate a valid fit file?

Thanks for clarifying 4567890 ! Garmin Connect wouldn't accept the FFRT repaired file, but it did accept the section-remover fixed one, which was even better because then I was able to fix the other fit…

According to FFRT - "The recording ended abruptly and without the expected summary records. Probably data records at the end of the recording are missing."

Thanks! Unfortunately this FFRT rendered file behaves the same as what I get from running the online repair tool. The summary record is still missing, and that's what I'm trying to correct. When I try to edit the fit file using the FIT SDK, I can convert it to csv ok, but then it's impossible to roundtrip even an unedited csv back to fit. What I would need to do is edit the csv to add the missing total distance manually (following: developer.garmin.com/.../)

Using Garmin Connect to upload the data solved the issue for me.
