Manual upload of .gpx not attaching to challenge

I uploaded a .gpx from strava. The activit is showing fine (with some editing) in my activities, but the distance isn't recording as part of a challenge i am doing?

[Other activities recorded via my watch are attaching to the challenge fine.]

Manually entered and (most of) imported activities do not count for challenges and badges. You need to record the activity with a Garmin device

I was able to fix this with the TCX files. I use the peloton to Garmin interface. I have sent an update to the developer.
