Will Connect update historical data if they are changed?

I just discovered that my Index Smart Scale had registered a weigh-in on my Connect account last friday.

Thing is, it was my wife that weighed in, and she weighs in at around 20 kilos less than me. I deleted the weigh-in, of course, but this has messed up my RMR readings and of course also the daily totals of calories burned.

Will the data for the past days be corrected automatically, as I deleted the weigh-in? I'd also imagine that my AMR for the period actually was higher than Connect tells me, but this will probably also be corrected if the data for the RMR are corrected.

Anyone in the know?

  • I'd tell that it is highly unlikely that Calories would be adjusted when you remove some past weight-ins. You need to realize, that the Calories are computed on the device, not on the Garmin Connect server, hence the change of the weight in the past won't have any impact on the data already synced to the GC account. I never tested it though, so you can certainly give it a try (without keeping your hopes too high).
