Add speed to charts in Activity

How to add speed to the activity charts?

  • Pace is inverted speed, and the graph would look identical. Km or mile pace is a widely used standard for foot disciplines (run, walk, hike), 100m or 100yards pace is the standard for swimming, and speed is used for cycling. You cannot change it, but if you really want to see the graph of speed instead of the pace, for your running, just temporarily change the type of the activity to cycling.

  • Of course, I know the chart would look the same but internally I operate on speed rather than pace and it would help me to see it that way. For now I'll use your workaround, Thank you

  • You can just click on "Speed" and pace will converted to speed including graph.

Or you can change format for activities by default in settings of watch. On mine it's here:

Menu > System > Format > Pace / Speed Preference >  (Activity Type) > Show Pace / Show Speed.

However, I do not know changes will reflects only on watches or Garmin Connect too.
