Training plan on garmin connect not working?

I have tried to use the training plans on the garmin connect app. Everytime I get to the end of setting up the plan and hit start, it keeps saying oops! something went wrong. Am I doing something wrong? Do these plans only work with the watches( I have the 530 edge)? I've tried this over the past couple of weeks and keep getting the same result.

Cycling Training Plans should work with Edge 530:

I am having the same issue from the app & the web, its pretty annoying.

Check out the storage on your device. It may need some clean up, if there are too many activities, courses, and/or workouts.

I suffer this on my old Edge 800, I've set a reminder on my phone to clear out activities more than a month old.

I have this same problem. My fenix 6 is newer, and neither creating the app on the web or on the app works. In addition, I had no active training plan (and haven't for some time), and I deleted all completed training plans.
