Editing Open Water Swim Problems

How to Trim it? I drove away again! - trim works on other activities, but I don't see the option on Open water..

You can change the OWS activity type to Running or Cycling, trim it, and the changing the type back to OW Swim. I did it already couple of times.

Currently not possible to trim a swimming activity using Garmin Connect - I am not seeing the option to trim my activity

This feature supports most common activity types however not all will have the option. Some popular activity types that do not support Trim Activity include:

Multisport
Cardio
Indoor rowing
Pilates
Strength Training
Yoga
Swimming
Diving
Driving
Other

You might be able to edit the activity fit file using a 3rd-party tool such as FitFileTools or Fit File Repair Tool. Or zip the fit file and attach it to this thread. Maybe someone can fix it for you.

I actually tested that today before I posted. Maybe it was too short.
