Why can't steps from walking activity be calculated/added to daily step count?

Took watch off - sore wrist - went for walk and recorded it later, wasn't added to me steps, meaning I missed  my 10,000 steps.

Can't this be added retrospectively?

Dean

  • It could but it isn't how it works. The watch counts the steps. Next time bring your watch with you. You don't have to wear it on your wrist. Keep it in a pocket or put it on your ankle.
