Massive .fit file, mac user, need help

Hi guys, I did a race with a course without having the proper base maps. Something happened and it created a fit file that was too big even for the free online fit file fixer. 55 MB! Anyway, I'm uploading the compressed zip file here. Can anybody help me fix it? I am on a mac and therefor can't download the usual tools to fix this problem. Thanks!Isburgues race file.zip

you stripped power from the data

That's one of the differences between fit and gpx. As I said above "might be missing some data." Those were possibly the corrupt bits. Sorry, I cannot help you anymore…

I imported your fit file into BaseCamp, then exported as a GPX file. Might be missing some data that was in the original fit file, but at least it is now compatible with Garmin Connect so you should be able to upload it to your Garmin Connect account.

the .gpx file still comes out to over 10MB. seems not normal?
