Annoying email notifications to friends

I have just purchased a Garmin Forerunner 45S about a week ago. I set my partner as my emergency contact / assistance. For some reason he receives an email notification every time I do an activity, which is quite annoying. How can I turn this off??

  • Perhaps you added them to Live Track, not Incidence Detection?

  • What does the message say? The contents could point us to a certain function.

    Strava Beacon sent text messages to my wife every time I started an activity, but I somehow turned it off...even if it says it is enabled in the Strava settings...

    Possible - but I can't even find any place, where I can edit email notifications to whomever. I feel like I have been on every single tab many times. I'm either blind or this is hidden very very well. So if you could guide me in the right direction, I'd be super greatful :)

    It says

    Watch Jasmin's live activity now!

    An invitation from Jasmin.

    You are invited to watch my live activity ... etc.

    So it sounds like Live Track - but have found no where I can turn this off

  • Open the Connect app on your phone.

    Menu->Safety & Tracking->LiveTrack

    Change the Auto Start setting to what you like and check the settings by clicking the upper right corner and chosing settings.

    Also check Live Event Sharing:

    Menu->Safety & Tracking->Live Event Sharing

    Thank you!! I'm not sure why I didn't see that ... hopefully that did the trick!
