Ridiculous 60 day step goal badge points award

Hi,

Why is the badge (60 day step goal) awarded 8 points?? And also repeatable??

According to Garmin a 60 day step goal (for instance 1000 steps a day) equals a marathon or a 100 mile ride...

Also all the other step day badges are non repeatable.

  • Well, with normal steps' goal it's quite hard to complete it everyday for 2 months, no matter the weather.

That's true, someone can set a low goal, but it still takes a lot of time to collect points and there are some other easier badges which gives points more quickly.

So I don't see a problem with 8 points for this. I got this badge only 1 time, because normally breaks in training are good.

  • I don't see the issue with this. Most of the 8 point badges are repeatable (the only one that are not is the 4 hour indoor cycling badge and the intensity 300 badge). And I don't mind that it equals the marathon badge or the 100 mile ride badge in points. From my perspective, the 100 mile ride is certainly easier to achieve. I received the 100 mile ride badge 28 times so far, but haven't got the 60 day step goal even once.

If you want to complain about ridiculous badge points, how about getting the same amount of points for a marathon, a 50 km run, a 50 miles run, a 100 km run and 100 miles run.
