August rundown badge

badge never came through completed challenge-

You might have just missed the badge by running too short.

40 miles is 64.37376

I would do a test and edit one of the runs and add a few meters to see if that helps. I've done a test with the 400 km biking…

View a run activity, click the cog wheel in the upper right corner, change the distance.

In the app you click on an activity, click the three dots in the upper right corner, click edit, click the distance…

Yes, it displays a rounded distance, but checks for all digits.
It's misleading, that's true. A run must be a little longer as e7andy wrote.
