Long drive is not reporting as longest drive

not like I am killing my drives, but would expect to see accurate information on the scorecard. Wet conditions this morning and my best drive was on #4. Main scorecard shows longest drive was 225., but the drive on 4, clearly was and shows 237. So WTF?

  • I just encountered the exact same problem. I drove the ball 250 yds (my lifetime longest) but my scorecard shows my second longest drive for that game as the longest. The 250 yd. drive also doesn't shoow up in my performance stats either. I've never had this problem before.

I tried editing the scorecard stat that records if it was left, right, or on the fairway, but tht didn't change things. I'm also not crushing my drives either, but all the more reason I'm disappointed that my lifetime best isn't acknowledged.

  • I recently played a 9-hole round of golf (Sep 25) and tracked my score and clubs using my Garmin Approac S20. During this round, I shot my personal lifetime-best drive (250 yd.) on the 17th fairway. When I finished the round, I connected the watch to my PC using the USB cabled and successfully synched with Garmin Express. But when I reviewed the game on the Garmin Connect website, the scorecard showed my longest drive as only 236 yds. (which was my second longest one that day). When I look at the shots recorded for the 17th fairway, I clearly see the 250 yd. shot attributed to my driver with the letter 'D' but the scorecard doesn't show this as my longest drive for some reason.

I might not mind this so much, except that when I review my performance stats, again I find this 250yd. drive to be missing.Instead, another shorter drive from earlier this year shows as my best and when I look on the drive tab in performance stats, the longest drive shown is less than 250 yds. This hurts my statistics and makes me wonder also what other iron shots may have been left out of my stats in the past.

What might have caused this? Can it be fixed somehow?
