"swim im pool" from yards to metric?

How to change a "swim im pool" from yards to metric? Note in the settings i''ve chosen for metric and all my other activities are displayed in metric. only 'swim in pool' is in yards. If i change it to 'swim outdoor" it's displayed in metric again. what to do?

What is the size of the pool you selected in the settings of the Pool Swim Activity? Did you choose a pool size in meters or in yards?

Like trux said, the pool size setting is independent of whatever units you are using. This is because depending on what country you are in it can be common to find pools in one or the other regardless of what system the country uses. The first time you used the pool swim activity it should have asked pool size and will remember this setting. You can change it in the settings for the pool swim activity on your watch.

If you frequently swim in pools of different sizes one way to handle that if you don't want to mess around in the settings each time is to copy the pool swim activity so you have two and set the size on each one differently and name them as well. Since I sometimes swim in a 25m pool and sometimes a 25y pool I have two pool swim activities that I've named "Pool Swim-M" and "Pool Swim-Y".
