modify uploaded activity

is there a way to update/modify an activity after has been uploaded on the web? For eg. editing pool swimming laps detection errors

Some data can be edited directly in the web interface but it is quite limited.

The export function is currently not working, but that could be a way to change the data. Export the activity (to FIT, TCX or GPX), edit the file and then import the edited file. Finally delete the old activity.

I am having the same problem. For example, I swap 200 + 1500 + 200 and watch (FR945) wrongly understood 200+1550+200. After I uploaded the activity I was able to change the 1950 into 1900. But I could not change the single intervals which are now still wrong and do not even match the total anymore. So there is no way to change the single intervals in connect web?

No. The totals can as you say be changed, but not the laps/intervals. Export the file and see if you understand how to do the changes you like. It can be a bit tricky if you are not used to editing xml files.

i vaguely know what an xml is... what piece of software should i use to open/edit it though?

Any text editor will work (for example notepad). I'm a developer so I prefer something a bit more sophisticated like Sublime Text or Atom.
