Turn on elevation correction by default

I recently got a Forerunner 945 and the altimeter readings are way off. I'll start and end my run at the same place and it will say +40ft starting and -40ft ending. But using the elevation correction it looks much better. Is there a way to turn this setting on by default instead of just for a single activity? I was not able to find the setting for the default.

Yeah. recently upgraded to the 945 from the 235. It is unacceptable that the $170 watch outperforms the $500 watch in anyway. At least provide the option to change the default so we dont have to manuallly…

Currently not. You have to do it manually at each activity.
