I have lost all my data prior to 05/02/2020 after Garmin went down

I have just recovered my data back to 05/02/2020 but everything from the last few years has gone

Have you checked Garmin Connect Web? This should not have happened, unless you're logged in with a different account. See this support link: Data is Missing from My Garmin Account After Syncing
